There are two small re-routes (detours) on the Toronto section for hikers to note. The first is in the Terra Cotta Conservation Area (Map 14). Using the main Bruce Trail, hikers will have to detour around parts of the Escarpment Trail while a boardwalk is being built. The detour will be in effect from July 29-August 2. The re-route is through the CVC’s Graydon and Vaugh Trails and temporary closure directional signs will be installed.

The second closure is on the Main Trail where it intersects with Heritage Road (Map14). If you are walking the Main Trail, you will be re-routed to a detour through the Rockside Side Trail. This detour will be in effect the week of August 12. Look for updates about the trail re-openings through our social media feeds and website.
